There is a special slot with magnets at the bottom for Hex Spanner, you would not need to worry about losing the Hex Spanner. High customization full cage for BMPCC 4K It is securely locked by 1/4’’-20 screws on the top and bottom, with additional locating pins and rubber pads on the base plate to prevent slipping and scratches. I can recommend it but keep in mind it will add a little weight (+balance changes) and often requires recalibration if you switch the Ronin S off (so don’t switch it off if you are doing an event). This BMPCC cage is specifically designed for Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. The Focus Motor ran those FF lenses for 8+ hour days with battery to spare so it won’t have any issues with your manual MFT lenses. The only Ronin S focus experience I have is with heavy Full Frame Canon camera/lens combos before I embraced the dark side of BM. Maybe you guys try your luck and share your experience here. My MFT Lenses here are all manual, so I had no possibility to test focusing controls etc. I hadn't much time since yet to trial and error. The "stills" functions (Timelapse, Panorama etc.) too. I found out that the record function buttons work. Firmware for the Camera came with USB-C "gimbal" support, I thought - well. Very frustrating - cause I just want that simple damn "REC" Button function, like you all do, I guess After reading the release notes i'm still haven't read something about BM Cameras. Yesterday I updated my Ronin S Firmware to the latest Version Cause I wanted to play around a little wit my PS4 Controller, which works good by the way.
